I'm your instructor, Laurie Marks.  Here I am traveling with my parents in Costa Rica last January.   I have taught at UMB for ten years, and I also write fantasy novels.  I spent the summer polishing a novel to be published in May (Water Logic, Small Beer Press), writing a short story, writing a proposal for another novel, gardening, and tent camping in Maine.

My office is in W-6-10-6 (from the elevator, turn left, turn right, and my office is on your right).  The number is 617-287-6742 (x76742).  My official office hours are Monday and Friday 11:30-1:30, and Wednesdays 12:30 to 2:30, but I am usually in my office most of the afternoon on those days, so feel free to drop by.  I am not on campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays at all.  You can always contact me by emal, and I am on line several times a day, including weekends.  My email address is laurie.marks@umb.edu.
