Wednesday September 20, 2006 11pm

So nice to see everyone in class tonight!

Just confirming that a completed Assignment 1 essay is due in class on Wednesday September 27, 2006 at 4 pm when class begins. Please see the Weekly Course Outline on pages 15 and 16 for more details.

Please come to September 27, 2007 class as scheduled-- we will be meeting in the 4th floor of Healey Library with Mrs. Louisa Tseng, Health Sciences Librarian.

Please do not plan to complete any remaining work on Assignment 1 during that 4-7pm class time-- as we will be busy exploring the Library's resources and taking a closer look at the details of the APA homework assignment during this class period.

Thanks to each of you for passing the word about this announcement to other class members who may not see it.

Accessing Healey Library resources with your bar code:

Students enrolled in all UMB courses are eligible to receive a barcode for access to Healey Library resources.

The UMB library is a fabulous in-person and online resource which will allow you to do most of your library research work online at  http://www.lib.umb/.

To access the Healey Library resources site from off campus,  you will need to sign in using your barcode number found on the reverse of your student ID card.

If you don't have a student ID card or are unable to read the bar code number, you can send an e-mail request to: Library.circulation@umb.edu. Your request should include your  first and last name, student ID number, course name and number and semester.  You will receive address of the library website and directions on how to sign in.

Your barcode access terminates at the end of the semester.
